3cm x 1 metre DOUBLE ENDED EL Tape Cut to Make 2 Strips of Any Length

With this 'double ended' EL Tape you end up with two pieces of EL Wire for the price of one! - just cut it in half.

This is a 3cm wide and 1 metre long strip of Electro-Luminescent Tape.

*The full Glow area of the Tape is 2.3cm x 1 metre*

The EL Tape has a connector attached to BOTH ENDS:

This means it can be cut into two pieces of any length you choose.

A 2 Way Splitter is also provided so you can run both the EL Tapes from just one driver.

When cutting EL Tapes or Panels, it is best to use sharp scissors and to seal the cut afterwards with glue and/or clear nail varnish.

We stock the following colours:

In the drop down menu is also the option to buy the EL Tape with a powerful mains powered or portable Driver (8xAA batteries)

These Drivers are powerful enough to drive about 1 1/2 metre of this (3cm x 1metre) EL Tape in total and will make the Tape plug and play

EL Tape is an incredibly versatile material it can be bent and wrapped around things and with care, can even have shapes cut into it.

EL Tape 5cm x 35cm single connector

This is a 5 cm wide and 35cm long strip of glowing Electroluminescent Tape.

It is ideal for using as an arm band for Detroit: Become Human cosplay

If needed, this EL Panel can be cut down to size using sharp scissors.

When cutting EL Tape or Panel it is best to use sharp scissors or craft knife and to seal the cut afterwards with glue and/or clear tape.

This EL Panel is available in Light Blue (Tron Blue) and White.

1) 3 pieces of 1 metre 3.2mm EL Wire

3) 3 pieces of 50cm 3.2mm EL Wire

4) An EL Driver with either an 8 x AA Power Pack (batteries not supplied) or a rechargeable 3000mAh Li-ion battery (only available in the UK due to airmail postal restrictions)

This driver is powerful enough to glow up to 15 metres of EL Wire

5) 1 x mini 3-way splitter, 1 x standard 3-way splitter, 1 x long 3-way splitter and 1 x 50cm extender

By 'daisy chaining' the splitters you can have all 9 metres of EL Wire attached to this one driver/inverter

6) 50 x Clear Hoops to make it easy to attach the EL Wire to the costume and also make it removable so you can put it through the washing machine

The EL Wire can be any combination of these colours:

For this glowing girl set, the driver is very powerful and so it comes with a choice of two different power packs.

THE POWER PACK

Takes 8 x AA batteries (not supplied) and is 12.7cm x 7.02cm x 1.9cm and has a 21cm thin power wire coming out of it that leads to the driver

A 3000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery which weighs 172g and is 7.3cm x 5.6cm x 2.2cm. This option comes with a 1A intelligent charger. Due to airmail restrictions this is option is only available for UK delivery.

THE DRIVER

The driver is 5.4cm x 3.4cm x 2.9cm

It has the controls on it - Off, Flashing or On

The Splitters are 40cm long in total,

it is 20cm of wire which then splits into 3 separate strands which are all 20cm long

This driver is specifically for use with Chasing EL Wire and will not connect or light up standard EL Wire.

EL Chasing Wire

This Portable Chasing EL Driver powerful is enough for 3 - 10 metres of standard Chasing EL Wire or 1 - 3 metres of Ultra Chasing EL Wire and is powered by 4 x AAA batteries (not supplied).

For use with this driver, we currently stock 50cm up to 10 metre lengths of standard chasing EL Wire

We have specially made Chasing Splitters to connect 3 pieces of 1m Chasing EL Wire to this one Driver

or if you are using ULTRA Chasing EL Wire then it must be either a single 3metre length or you can use the splitters with 1m strands.

(ULTRA Chasing EL Wire is much brighter and requires more power to make it glow)

2 Way Switch Splitter with "Middle: ALL OFF"

These splitters are a handy and cheap way of making different parts of your EL costume/project light up

The EL Splitter Switch is simply a 2 way splitter with a 3 switch on it

The switch has three positions:

Switch to the left: Channel A ON + Channel B OFF

Switch to the right: Channel A OFF + Channel B ON

Switch in the middle: Both Channels OFF

(we also sell a different "Both ON" switch splitter - on this type, the Switch in middle is both channels ON)

The spitter is 20cm in total and it is often used with extender wires running down the sleeve to allow the switch splitter to sit in your hand

This "Middle: All OFF" Switch Splitter is useful is you want to overlay two different designs onto one project

This is a mask that was made with two different designs on it. On one channel of the splitter is the EL Wires of the Alien Face, the other channel connects to the EL Wires for the Crazy Face

The wearer can have the mask with the Crazy Face showing and then, when they want to freak people out, just flick the switch across so the Alien Face appears

38cm x 40cm White EL Panel - Matt Coating

Here we have Continuous Lighting for a Photography Studio or Light Box.

This large EL Panel can be used as a base to take photographs and will help reduce shadows by up-lighting the item.

The EL Panel is lightweight and only 1/3mm thick.

It is powered by a silent, mains powered EL Driver that is 13cm x 7cm x 3cm and weighs 150gms.

When it is switched off the panel is a light pink colour but when on it glows brightly at around 80 cd/sq metre

The size of the unit has been designed to fit inside standard foldable light box or light tent kits.

Enclosed Battery Box (8 x AA) - 12V PORTABLE POWER PACK

This handy item is an enclosed battery box that takes 8 x AA batteries (batteries not supplied) and gives an output of 12v.

*Please note this is just a battery box, IT IS NOT AN EL DRIVER/INVERTER. They are available as a power supply for our EL Drivers or EL Sequencers.*

The size of this power pack is:

127mm x 72mm x 19mm and the lead for the output is 17cm long with a 2.1mm/5.5mm plug on the end.

This is a useful item for when you need to power a 12v appliance that you want to make portable

REMEMBER:

Standard alkaline batteries are 1.5v each, so 8 of them will make 12v, however rechargeable batteries are only1.2v each, so 8 of them in this battery pack will only produce 9.6v.

3 x 18650 Battery Box

This handy item is a battery box that takes 3 x 18650 batteries and gives an output of just under 12V

*Please note this is just a battery box IT IS NOT AN EL DRIVER/INVERTER. They are available as a power supply for our EL Drivers or EL Sequencers.*

18650 batteries are the long round flat ended rechargeable 'INR' or 'IMR' batteries which have become popular since they are used in vaping rigs.

We have made this battery box to power the 12v EL Drivers and Sequencers,

The 18650 batteries are 3.7v each, so the power input from this Battery Box with 3 is a total of 11.1V

We have found this barely makes a difference when powering EL Drivers compared to the convenience of these rechargeable batteries

This Battery Box comes with a standard 2.1mm/5.5mm connector

The size of the Battery Box power pack is 76mm x 60mm x 19mm and the output lead is 250mm long.
