Description

This ‘Angel Hair’ EL Wire is a very light diameter of EL Wire, making it a fun and useful material to work with if you’re attaching to light fabric.

The colours we stock in this diameter are:
Light Blue (Tron Blue), Deep Blue, Pink, Orangey-Red, Yellow, Lime Green, Turquoise-Green
and WhiteWhite

And in these lengths:  10cm / 50cm / 1 metre / 3 metre / 5 metre / 10 metre / 15 metre / 30 metre

This EL Wire comes with a standard connector already attached so simply plugs into any EL inverter – this makes it easy to change between coloured wire on the same Driver.

By using Splitters you can also connect many strands of the glowing wire to the same Driver.

el wire and el tape

EL wire has loads of uses!

This neon wire looks amazing when decorating the interior or exterior of cars, it can be used inside and outside of the home and office and can even be threaded into clothes and hats.

Our Drivers can run many lengths of wire as long as the total length of the wire is under the Drivers maximum capacity

With some care, the EL wire can be attached to speaker wire to make patterns or extend the neon wire over gaps where it isn’t needed.

Joining tape and tubing for re-attaching the wire are available from this store

– this is if you want to cut the EL wire and rejoin it or perhaps attach some wire to a different Driver

Cutting the wire into the length you choose is simple… but rejoining it takes care and attention.

You will definitely need some wire strippers

You can happily use the joining tape and heat shrink tubing for a decent join but if the joint is likely to encounter stress (e.g. if it is threaded into clothes that will then be bent and jostle) or if the join may be hard to reach (e.g. behind a panel in a car) then we would advise soldering to avoid future hassle
