This EL Wire comes with a standard connector already attached so simply plugs into any EL inverter - this makes it easy to change between coloured wire on the same driver.
By using splitters you can also connect as many strands of the glowing wire to the same driver

Cutting the wire into the length you choose is simple... but rejoining it takes care and attention.
You will also definitely need some wire strippers
You can happily use the joining tape and heat shrink tubing for a decent join but if the joint is likely to encounter stress (e.g. if it is threaded into clothes that will then be bent and jostle) or if the join may be hard to reach (e.g. behind a panel in a car) then we would advise soldering to avoid future hassle

Waterproof and Sandproof Driver for 3m EL Wire - WITHOUT EL Connector
This small portable driver is completely waterproof and sand-proof right up to the connector clip and takes 2xAAA batteries.
It is in the Bargain Bucket because it has no EL Connector on it
It does have an 8cm Wire coming from the top of the Driver, it just does not have a plug on the end
