12V Rechargeable Li-ion batteries & chargers

These batteries have been specially made for EL Wire Craft and are made with the highest quality Lithium Polymer technology.

Whilst trying out different battery systems, we found that many of them exaggerated the milliamp/Hour ratings. These batteries are within 10% of the rating at which they have been given.

They also feature overcharge protection.

They do not have their own on/off switch as we found this was unnecessary and just added another element that could fail.

We have these batteries in five different sizes with the following weights and dimensions:

1000mAh: 81g (6.5cm x 3.7cm x 1.8cm)

1800mAh (Square): 145g (5.6cm x 3.8cm x 3.1cm)

3000mAh: 172g (7.3cm x 5.6cm x 2.2cm)

5000mAh: 265g (6.0cm x 5.8cm x 3.9cm)

15Ah: 725g (14.0cm x 6.5cm x 4.7cm)

These Li-ion batteries are best charged with dedicated Li-ion Intelligent Chargers

The 15Ah has an overcharge protection up to 15A so can take a larger current draw

AC Mains intelligent chargers come with UK plugs and are available in a choice of:

No Charger - if you already have your own intelligent Li-ion battery charger

1A Charger - This will charge the Li-ion batteries at a max of 1A per hour

2A Charger - This will charge the Li-ion batteries at a max of 2A per hour

Mains PSU - US mains to 12V

This is a plug that goes into the mains power and then converts the AC power to 12V DC which is what many of our EL Drivers are powered by.

Since EL Wire is very low power, we only have these power supply units that output a maximum of 1A.

These power supply units are recommended to be used with our adaptable drivers.
