MAXI EL Wire - 1.5mm High Brightness @ £5 per metre
MAXI EL Wire lives up to its name by bringing together the latest breakthroughs in electroluminescent technology to create a high brightness glowing wire that outshines standard EL Wire.
At 1.5mm in diameter, you will find that whilst making patterns with the MAXI EL Wire, it will hold itself rigid when bent into its desired shape. 1.0mm fine EL Wire also does this, but MAXI EL Wire creates a much more rigid form.
The Maxi EL Wire is more robust than the Ultra EL Wire and is as reliable as the standard EL Wire.
The bend radius of MAXI EL Wire is 5mm; the same as our standard EL Wire.
Breaking strain is at 1kg also the same as our standard EL Wire.
Pressure on the MAXI EL Wire should not be more than 1kg; the same as our standard EL Wire.
These spectacular improvements are due to a thicker copper core giving a greater area of luminosity and helps the EL Wire hold its shape.
MAXI EL Wire uses exactly the same Splitters, Drivers and Sequencers as standard EL Wire.
This remarkable glowing wire is £5 per metre and is available in 50cm, 1 metre, 3 metre, 5 metre, 10 metre and 25 metre lengths (with connectors attached).
It is available in Light Blue, Lime Green, Orange, Yellow, Deep Blue, Deep Pink, Pink and White
Comparing Standard, MAXI and ULTRA EL Wire
As with all electroluminescent technology, because the EL naturally glows blue/green the brightest colour of the wire is the Light Blue, Lime Green and White. The least bright are the red and purple as they have to be filtered the most to get the colours right.
The EL Wire has a connector already attached so is ready to simply clip into an EL Driver - THE DRIVER HAS TO BE BOUGHT SEPARATELY

EL Tape is an incredibly versatile material it can be wrapped around things.
To join it to a costume we recommend our ''''sewable loop & stick-able hook'''' Velcro which allows you to sew one part of the Velcro to your costume while the stick pat goes on the back of this tape. The tape can then be removed from the costume to wash it
EL Tape can even have holes and shapes punched into it and be cut to your chosen shape
This Tape is also available in 25cm, 40cm and 1 metre lengths
A 2 x AA inverter can power four of these 12cm EL Tapes and an 8 x AA inverter can power just over 2 metres of EL Tape.

This is a 2cm wide and 12cm long Electroluminescent Tape with a 45º bend in the middle available in:

This EL Curve has been designed to help you achieve a realistic Tron costume.
As you can see in the picture below it is perfectly suited for use with straight EL Tape and the EL Hoops

EL Tape DOUBLE ENDED 2cm x 1 metre Cut to Make 2 Glowing Strips of Any Length
This is a versatile piece of 2cm wide and 1 metre long Electro-Luminescent Tape.
The EL Tape has wires with connectors attached to BOTH ENDS:
This means it can be cut into two pieces of any length you choose
A 2-way splitter is also provided so you can run both the EL Tapes off of one Driver/Inverter
When cutting EL Tape or Panel it is best to use sharp scissors or craft knife and to seal the cut afterwards with glue and/or clear tape

Large EL Panel - 15cm x 40cm with 4 Connectors
This listing is for a 15 cm high x 40cm long Electroluminescent Panel.
(Lit area is 14cm x 39cm)
It can be powered using a mains driver or a 12v EL Driver
It is currently available in Light Blue, Red, Green and White
This Panel is particularly useful if you want to make several custom shaped EL Panel
If you want to keep the Panel whole, you can cut off 3 of the connectors and then you have a 15cm x 40cm EL Panel
But you can make up to 4 different custom shapes from this EL Panel as long as each shape ends with one of the connector plugs which can then be connected to an EL Driver (or a splitter to have many pieces off one driver)
