Avengers Black Widow Full Set

This is the perfect set to help make an awesome Black Widow costume

Full Black Widow Costume Set includes torso, gauntlets and knee pads.

With this set you get:

1) 1 piece of 1.5 metres of high quality (3.2mm) Electroluminescent Wire.
This runs up the body, round behind the neck and then back down to the waist

2) 2 pieces of 50cm EL wire for each of the arms

3) 2 panels of EL Wire for each knee and 30cm of Velcro for attachment.

4) Pair of EL Wire for the Gauntlet Sets (2 x mini driver, 4 x EL Wire, 4 EL Ribbon, Splitters and Velcro)

5) Trigger Driver so you can switch from 'glow mode' to 'incognito' using a switch in your sleeve

6) A 2-way Mini Splitter leading to a Speciality SLL (Short Long, Long) 3 Way Splitter to power the three EL Wires all over the body of the costume and a Long 2-way Splitter to power the knee panels.

7) 30 x Clear Hoops to make it easy to attach the EL Wire to the costume and also make it removable so you can put it through the washing machine

DRIVER/INVERTER

The Power Pack takes 2 x AA batteries (not supplied) and is needed to make the EL Wire glow

The power pack/inverter is 8.5cm x 5cm x 2cm

It has an On/Off plunger switch that can run down the arm of the costume and be used to discreetly turn the glowing wire on and off

SPLITTERS

The 3 way Splitter has one short 10cm channel which is supposed to go to the 1.5m EL Wire and the two longer channels are 70cm and designed to reach up to the arms to light the 50cm EL Wires

The mini 2 way splitter is 20cm long

2 x 50cm extenders

EL WIRE
As explained above, the 1.5m EL Wire creates a great bodyline by starting at the waist, runs up the body and round the neck then returns to the waist

EL HOOPS

These make it easy to attach the EL Wire to a costume by sewing them on and then threading the EL Wire through the hoops. This also makes it easier to remove the EL Wire to wash the clothing.

It is also possible to sew the EL Wire directly onto the costume

Burning Man Festival EL Wire Set for Clothing

This set has been especially designed for you lucky folks off to the Burning Man Festival in Black Rock, Nevada

For those of us that have to slum it with UK festivals, it is also a useful and robust EL Wire set to make you stand out from the crowd.

The Set consists of a Trigger controlled EL Driver, by running the switch down your sleeve you can flick your EL Wire creation on and off at will

The Driver is used to power:

1 x 3 metre long EL Wire

2 x 1 metre lengths of EL Wire

1 x 3 Way Splitter

30 x clear hoops

It's the robust 3.2mm diameter wire enclosed in this set, which is ideal for the harsh conditions in the Nevada desert.

Burning Man Festival EL Wire Set for Bike

This set has been especially designed for you lucky folks off to the Burning Man Festival in Black Rock, Nevada.

If you want your Bike to stand out then this is what you need - it is just a single 3 metre length of wire with a Driver, we feel it is safest to use a single strand of EL Wire on a bike so there is less danger of loose strands causing any trouble

The Set consists of a special sandproof and waterproof EL Driver making ideal for the harsh conditions of the deserts of Nevada.

The Driver is used to power a single 3 metre long EL Wire and is the bright and robust 3.2mm diameter wire.

Having two of these sets on the bike means you can cover every part including forks and handlebars, it also offers reassurance in case one fails or runs out of batteries you will still be lit up.

Festival Party Set - 3 x 1 metres of 3.2mm EL Glowing Wire + Driver

The first (and perhaps only) rule of making an amazing glowing EL outfit for a festival is:

Design it so you can go to the toilet easily!!!

This listing is for 3 metres (3 x 1m lengths) of 3.2mm Electro - Luminescent Wire, a portable driver and a 3 way splitter.

The splitter lets you have 3 x 1 metre lengths of EL Wire attached to one driver/inverter.

This 3.2mm EL Wire can be any combination of these colours:

Light Blue (Tron Blue), Purple, Deep Blue, Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Lime Green, Grass Green, Turquoise-Green and White.

It is vibrant and malleable!

Please send a note with your order if you want different colours.

Because the EL naturally glows blue/green the brightest colour of the wire is the Light Blue, Lime Green and White. The least bright are the Red and Purple as they have to be filtered the most to get the colours right.

EL Driver

The Driver takes 2 x AA batteries (batteries not supplied) - it works by having a built-in voltage inverter that 'inverts' the 3 Volts from the batteries up to the 100 Volts needed to make the EL Wire glow.

This Driver is 9cm x 3.2cm x 2cm with a button for the 4 modes - Off, On, Fast Flash and Strobe.

SPLITTER

The Splitter is 40cm long in total. It has 20cm of wire which then splits into 3 separate strands which are all 20cm long and lead to the...

EL WIRE

There is then another 20-25cm from the connector until the actual glowing start of EL Wire - then there is 3 X 1 metres of gorgeous glowing wire!

Its not complicated or fiddly - I've just given all those details if you want to plan your costume before you buy the set

This set can turn any item of clothing into a party outfit.

This wire comes with a standard connector so simply plugs into any EL driver - this makes it easy to change between coloured wire on one driver

By using splitters you can also connect different strands to the same driver.

EL wire has loads of uses

It looks amazing when decorating the interior or exterior of cars, can be used inside and outside houses and can even be threaded into clothes and hats

This wire can be cut into smaller lengths and attached to another driver.

Our drivers can run many strips of wire as long as the total length of the wire is under the driver's maximum capacity (in this case under 5m).

With some care, the EL wire can be attached to speaker wire to make patterns or extend the wire over gaps where it isn't needed.

Joining tape and heat-shrink tubing are also available if you want to cut the EL wire and rejoin it or perhaps attach some wire to a different driver.

Cutting the wire into the length you choose is simple... but rejoining it takes care and attention.

You will also definitely need some wire-strippers.

You can happily use the joining tape and heat shrink tubing supplied for a decent join but if the joint is likely to encounter stress (e.g. if it is threaded into clothes that will then be bent and jostle) or if the join may be hard to reach (e.g. behind a panel in a car) then we would advise soldering to avoid future hassle.

Glow EL Wire Alien Halloween Set

Make your own eerie glowing Alien Face mask using this set supplied:

1 metre of high brightness 3.2mm EL wire to outline the Aliens face

1 metre of 1.5mm Maxi EL Wire to make the shape of the eyes

Portable 2 x AA inverter with continuous or strobe setting

3 way splitter - you only need 2, but you will have an option to add more wire to your mask at a later date
