The chasing motion looks amazing - it flows in one continuous motion (it jumps a bit in this picture but that is just the video)

EL Chasing Wire

It is available in any of these colours:

Light Blue (Tron Blue), Purple, Deep Blue, Pink, Red, Gold, Lime Green and Green

The wire has a special connector on it so does not clip into standard EL Wire connectors or drivers. It needs a Chasing EL Wire Driver (available in the drop-down menu above)

Adaptable Driver for up to 5m EL Wire (Water Resistant)

This is a super adaptable EL Driver which will run up to 5 metres of EL wire or 150squ cm of EL Tapes or EL Panels.

It DOES NOT have a flashing function - but comes with the option of an On/Off 'Plunger Switch'. The switch will latch on when fully pressed down, press for a second time and the switch will latch off.

As explained in detail below, these Adaptable Drivers are very versatile with a whole selection of Power inputs (Mains, Batteries, Direct 12V etc)

It has two integral screw fixing points on either side of it so it can be fastened down.

It has a water-tight seal all round it including where the wires come in and out of it. Attached in a sensible place it should withstand all types of weather

Its dimensions are: 29mm x 19mm x 24mm (L x W x H)

The screw fixing tabs stick out 6mm each on the 29mm side and could easily be cut off if space is vital. The Driver weighs 25g.

EL Driver Options:

This EL Driver comes either with or without an On/Off switch.

Without a switch it will draw power whenever it is connected to a power source

Or It has a Trigger Switch on the end of a 1.2metre cable. For portable uses, this allows the unit to be held on the body while the switch runs down the sleeve to the hand. For other uses, it allows the driver to be mounted somewhere pretty far from the switch

This Driver has a range of power inputs that cover most potential uses, please choose one of these from the drop-down menu:

1) ONLY THE DRIVER

Maybe you have your own 12V 5.5mm/2.1mm input you want to use, perhaps you will be using one of the 2-way power splitters, or will you be cutting off the connector and using the bare wires?

Whatever your reason, this option gives you just the driver (as in the pic above) - without any external power connectors like the rest of these listed below...

2) Crocodile Clips

Perfect if you already have your own 12V battery to run this driver

3) 8xAA Battery Box

This 8xAA Battery Box will plug straight into the driver. It is fairly large (127mm x 72mm x 19mm) but will make this EL Driver portable

4) 3 x 18650 Rechargeable Battery Box

This 3 x 18650 Rechargeable Battery Box will plug straight into the driver. It is fairly large (76mm x 60mm x 19mm) and the leads for the output are 15cm long but will make this EL Driver portable.

5) Rechargeable Li-ion Battery

Much smaller and lighter than the Battery Box, these powerful Li-ion batteries come in a range of sizes

1000mAh: 81g (6.5cm x 3.7cm x 1.8cm)

1800mAh (square): 145g (5.6cm x 3.8cm x 3.1cm)

3000mAh: 172g (7.3cm x 5.6cm x 2.2cm)

5000mAh: 265g (6.0cm x 5.8cm x 3.9cm)

All of these Li-ion Batteries come with an intelligent recharger, unless you choose 'No Charger'.

6) Mains Powered

This handy PSU can be used to make this EL Driver powered by Mains Electricity (UK, US or Eu plugs are available)

7) Car Lighter Adaptor

This adaptor plugs into the car lighter socket. It is fused and ends with a 5.5mm/2.1mm jack plug so it can be used with any of our 12v Drivers or accessories.

8) Self Stripping Wire Connectors (2)

This Driver is perfect for using when decorating your car with EL Wire.

An incredibly simple way to join the wires into your 12V loom is using these Self Stripping Wire Connectors (pack of 2)

9) 2 way Splitter for 12V Power Input (5.5mm)

If you're thinking of running two of these units off of one power source, then get yourself one of these splitters.

Please note this is a Splitter from the Battery to the Driver, so you would only need one Battery pack for 2 x Drivers.

you can use this Remote Control Unit by connecting the Controller between the Power Source and the Driver

2 Way Switch Splitter with "Middle: ALL OFF"

These splitters are a handy and cheap way of making different parts of your EL costume/project light up

The EL Splitter Switch is simply a 2 way splitter with a 3 switch on it

The switch has three positions:

Switch to the left: Channel A ON + Channel B OFF

Switch to the right: Channel A OFF + Channel B ON

Switch in the middle: Both Channels OFF

(we also sell a different "Both ON" switch splitter - on this type, the Switch in middle is both channels ON)

The spitter is 20cm in total and it is often used with extender wires running down the sleeve to allow the switch splitter to sit in your hand

This "Middle: All OFF" Switch Splitter is useful is you want to overlay two different designs onto one project

This is a mask that was made with two different designs on it. On one channel of the splitter is the EL Wires of the Alien Face, the other channel connects to the EL Wires for the Crazy Face

The wearer can have the mask with the Crazy Face showing and then, when they want to freak people out, just flick the switch across so the Alien Face appears

Enclosed Battery Box (8 x AA) - 12V PORTABLE POWER PACK

This handy item is an enclosed battery box that takes 8 x AA batteries (batteries not supplied) and gives an output of 12v.

*Please note this is just a battery box, IT IS NOT AN EL DRIVER/INVERTER. They are available as a power supply for our EL Drivers or EL Sequencers.*

The size of this power pack is:

127mm x 72mm x 19mm and the lead for the output is 17cm long with a 2.1mm/5.5mm plug on the end.

This is a useful item for when you need to power a 12v appliance that you want to make portable

REMEMBER:

Standard alkaline batteries are 1.5v each, so 8 of them will make 12v, however rechargeable batteries are only1.2v each, so 8 of them in this battery pack will only produce 9.6v.

3 x 18650 Battery Box

This handy item is a battery box that takes 3 x 18650 batteries and gives an output of just under 12V

*Please note this is just a battery box IT IS NOT AN EL DRIVER/INVERTER. They are available as a power supply for our EL Drivers or EL Sequencers.*

18650 batteries are the long round flat ended rechargeable 'INR' or 'IMR' batteries which have become popular since they are used in vaping rigs.

We have made this battery box to power the 12v EL Drivers and Sequencers,

The 18650 batteries are 3.7v each, so the power input from this Battery Box with 3 is a total of 11.1V

We have found this barely makes a difference when powering EL Drivers compared to the convenience of these rechargeable batteries

This Battery Box comes with a standard 2.1mm/5.5mm connector

The size of the Battery Box power pack is 76mm x 60mm x 19mm and the output lead is 250mm long.

Driver for 5-15metres + rechargeable power supply

This EL Driver is powered by the highest quality rechargeable Lithium Polymer technology

It is an EL Driver for 5-15metres of EL Wire

The Li-ion Battery comes with an Intelligent Charger to prolong the life of the battery

While trying out different battery systems, we found that many of them exaggerated the milliamp/Hour ratings. These batteries are within 10% of the rating at which they have been given

They do not have their own on/off switch as we found this was unnecessary and just added another element that could fail

The rechargeable batteries come in 3 different sizes

The thing about these end caps is that they actually cost us little money, so we feel a bit rude for selling them.

We've put it as free postage (UK only), and we'll do that first class so that's 65 pence down - so I guess you're paying 35p for us to find the bag with them in, count out 10 and then put them in an envelope.
