Mains PSU - UK mains to 12V

This is a plug that goes into the mains power and then converts the mains AC power to 12V DC which is what many of our EL Drivers are powered by.

Since EL Wire is very low power, we only have these power supply units that output a maximum of 1A.

These power supply units are recommended to be used with our adaptable drivers.

Sound Activated Driver for 3 - 10m

This is a Sound Activated Driver that's part of our Adaptable range so it can accept a number of power supplies.

The Driver will make between 3m and 10 metres of EL Wire glow when reacting to sound, there is a sensitivity dial for control of the Sound Activated response.

As explained in detail below, these Adaptable Drivers are very versatile with a whole selection of Power supplies, from mains, batteries to direct 12V etc.

Its dimensions are 6cm x 4cm x 2.5cm (L x W x H) and it has a weight of 38g.

Adaptable Driver for 5-15m (Flashing Option)

This handy item is a 12v driver with a variety of power inputs that will run between 5 and 15 meters of EL Wire.

The Driver has a switch on the side with 3 different positions Off - Flash - Continuous On.

As explained in detail below, these Adaptable Drivers are very versatile with a whole selection of power supplies (Mains, Batteries, Direct 12V etc)

The size of the Driver is: 5cm x 3.2cm x 2.8cm and weighs 61g.

Using splitters, this Driver can run as many strands as you like as long as the total is under 15 metres.

Adaptable Driver for 5-15m (Trigger Switch)

This is a super adaptable EL Driver which will run from 5 to 15 metres of EL wire or 100 - 350squ cm of EL Tape or Panel

It DOES NOT have a flashing function - but has a Trigger Switch on the end of a 1.2metre cable.

For portable uses, this allows the unit to be held on the body while the switch runs down the sleeve to the hand. For other uses, it allows the driver to be mounted somewhere pretty far from the switch. The switch will latch on when fully pressed down, press for a second time and the switch will latch off.

It is similar to the Water Resistant 5-15m Adaptable Driver, but is boxed differently and not potted in resin making it lighter (and therefore more popular as a portable driver)

Small Water Resistant 12v Inverter for up to 5 meters EL Wire with aux power attachment

This listing is for a 12v (with car-lighter attachment) inverter which will run up to 5 metres of EL neon glow wire

The inverter DOES NOT have an on/off switch or a flashing function.

But does have two integral screw fixing points on either side of it so it can be fastened down.

It has a water-tight seal all round it including where the wires come in and out of it. Attached in a sensible place it should withstand all types of weather.

Its dimensions are: 29mm x 19mm x 24mm (L x W x H).

The screw fixing tabs stick out 6mm each on the 29mm side and could easily be cut off.

CHASING Driver for 5 - 15m

This adaptable EL Driver only works for CHASING EL Wire

With this Driver you can adjust the speed of the chasing wire

It is a powerful driver and is suitable for 5m - 15m of standard Chasing EL Wire or 5m ULTRA Chasing EL Wire
It DOES NOT have an On /Off Switch and will switch on as soon as it is connected to a power source.

As explained in detail below, these Adaptable Drivers are very versatile with a whole selection of Power inputs (Mains, Batteries, Direct 12V etc)

Its dimensions are: 5cm x 4cm x 4cm (L x W x H) and weighs 80g.

Instructions:

1. Switch On, (to first position), ensuring that you have the EL Wire attached, as not having it attached when switching the Driver on can burn the Driver out.
2. The first position is ON and normal chasing speed.
3. Slide the switch to the last position and the Chasing EL Wire will move between speeding up and slowing down.
4. Watch the speed and when you see the speed that you want the EL Wire to chase at, move the switch back to the first position and it will lock the speed you want to use.

Here we have a large and powerful EL Driver that is sealed within a waterproof casing - reducing the whistle while also making it water-resistant.

This is a 12v driver (with crocodile clips) which will run between 5 and 15 metres of EL neon glow wire or 150 - 400 square centimetres of EL Tape or EL Panel.

12v Driver for 5 - 15 metres of EL Wire, powered by car lighter socket

This is a 12v driver (with car-lighter attachment) which will between 5 and 15 metres of EL wire or 150 - 400 squ cm of EL Tape

The Car Lighter attachment can be cut off and directly wired into the 12v power system in a car.

The driver has 3 settings:

Off, On or Flashing

The driver has a standard EL wire connector making it able to quickly switch between different coloured wire or add a splitter and have several strands of wire - simply clip in and out the connector

*All the EL wire we supply comes with a connector, so they plug straight into the driver*

This driver can also run many strands and colours of EL wire as long as the total length of wire is 15 metres or under.

24 gauge (0.5mm) wire can be used to extend the distance between the inverter and the start of the glowing EL wire

Glowing Party Robot Visor

Complete the party DJ or festival look with these new sound activated Flashing Visor style mask

This Visor has a wicked flashing pattern when plugged in and exposed to sound, making it great for parties, clubs or festivals, day or night.
