Here we have splitters for a 2.1mm/5.5mm 12v power supply.

This is extremely useful if you have multiple EL drivers that you want to run off a single power supply.

The total length of the splitter is 400mm with 190mm before the split.

These splitters are available in:

2 way (useful for powering 2 x EL drivers from 1 x power supply),

3 way (useful for powering 3 x EL drivers from 1 x power supply),

4 way (for powering 4 x EL drivers from 1 x power supply),

Angled Shape for Tron Costume 40cm

These 2cm x 40cm angled EL Tapes are made for the legs of our Tron Costumes, Sam Flynn, Quorra and Gem.
It can also be used on other parts of a costume such as the back, arms or neck. EL Tape glows brightly and looks really striking. This piece is available in Light Blue (Tron Blue)

If you are making a costume it is a good idea to plan it out properly.This EL Tape is available with or without a Driver

The EL Tape is angled so is 37 cm from top to tail - and traditionally was designed to go on the leg of our Tron costume but can be used anywhere.The EL Tape is just 350 microns thick - that is 1/3rd of a millimetre!

This EL Shape is made from EL Tape which is paper thin (300 micron) so it is incredibly versatile and can be easily attached to costume or even a wall for decoration.

Curved Shape for Tron Costume 40cm

This is a 2cm x 40cm piece of EL Tape curved to go round the ID Disc and over the shoulder
It can also be used on other parts of a costume such as the legs, arm or neck EL Tape glows brightly and looks really striking. This piece is available in Light Blue (Tron Blue)

Adjustable Motion Sensor (12v) 2.1mm/5.5mm 12v Input

This in-line Adjustable Motion Sensor sits between the power output and a driver allowing you to control your EL Panels, Tapes, Wires and LED's with motion.

This Motion Sensor comes ready to plug in with 5.5mm/2.1mm jack plug

This is a PIR (Passive Infra-red) sensor and has 110 degree angle and is adjustable between 30 seconds and 10 minutes

This is useful for having an on/off switch between power supply and driver.

12V Remote Control Switch - 25m Radio Frequency

This is an RF (Radio Frequency) 12v Remote Controller, which can operate from up to 25 metres away and the handheld remote controller does not need line of sight with the switch box to switch it on or off.

The Switch is programmable, so it is possible for one remote to control one or several switch boxes. Simply unscrew the switch box, then hold down the red button inside while pressing the ON button on the Remote Controller.

This will reprogram the Switch Box to this frequency.

The Input of the switch box is a 12V 5.5mm socket. The output is a 12V 2.1mm jack plug.

This means it will plug in between a host of electrical items - and if yours does not have a jack plug fitted then it is okay to strip these off and wire it in directly.

The 8 x AA Battery boxes and powerful rechargeable li-ion batteries below, both have 2.1mm jack plugs that plug directly into this unit.

All our 12V EL Drivers will also plug into this remote controller as they have 5.5mm sockets on them to receive power.

We have developed this item for EL Wire but it is not solely for use with EL Drivers and has a range of uses wherever remotely controlling a 12V device is necessary.

The Maximum charge this device allows is 6A which is pretty high for a 12V Device (72W)

CHASING Adaptable Driver for up to 15m EL Wire

This adaptable EL Driver only works for CHASING EL Wire

With this Driver you can adjust the speed of the chasing wire

It is a powerful Driver and is suitable for up to 15 metres of Chasing EL Wire or 5m ULTRA Chasing EL Wire
It is always best practice to connect the EL Wire to to the Driver before activating the Driver. This will avoid damaging if it is inadvertently switched on without the wire connected to it.

As explained in detail below, these Adaptable Drivers are very versatile with a whole selection of Power inputs (Mains, Batteries, Direct 12v etc)

Its dimensions are: 5cm x 4cm x 4cm (L x W x H) and weighs 80g.

Instructions:

1. Switch On, (to first position), ensuring that you have the EL Wire attached, as not having it attached when switching the Driver on can burn the Driver out.
2. The first position is ON and normal chasing speed.
3. Slide the switch to the last position and the Chasing EL Wire will move between speeding up and slowing down.
4. Watch the speed and when you see the speed that you want the EL Wire to chase at, move the switch back to the first position and it will lock the speed you want to use.

This Driver does have an On/Off Switch

We have found it is impossible to guess how you will be using the EL Wire, EL Tape and Drivers, so you will see on this website we have tried to give you as many choices as possible.

Maybe you have your own 12v 5.5mm/2.1mm input you want to use, perhaps you will be using one of the 2 Way power Splitters?

10 End Caps For EL Wire - 1.3mm, 2.3mm, 3.2mm or 5mm

This handy item is 10 pack End Caps of the main sizes of EL Wire.

(1.3mm, 2.3mm, 3.2mm or 5mm)

The thing about these end caps is that they actually cost us little money, so we feel a bit rude for selling them.

We've put it as free postage (UK only), and we'll do that first class so that's 65 pence down - so I guess you're paying 35p for us to find the bag with them in, count out 10 and then put them in an envelope.
