This plug and play kit comes with:

Two pieces (left and right) of replica shaped EL Tape for the front of the Sam Flynn Costume.
1 x 1.5cm x 15cm glowing EL Tape for the mid line.
A powerful portable driver with an 8 x AA battery pack (batteries not supplied) or a rechargeable Li-ion battery.
1 x 3-way splitter.
75cm of Velcro – sticky on one side and sewable on the other to attach and remove the EL tape to your costume.

Description

With this kit comes:

1) Two pieces of replica shaped EL Tape for the front of a Sam Flynn Costume – a Left and a Right

2) A single 1.5cm x 15cm EL Tape for the glowing mid line

4) A Powerful 8 x AA battery driver – capable of powering a further 250squ cm of EL Tape or up to 10 metres of EL Wire (it will power the “Tron Back Set” plus a further 2cm x 25cm of EL Tape)

5) A 3 Way Splitter,

6) 75cm of Velcro – with sticky hoop and sewable loop to make it easy to attach the set to a costume and have it removable

The Set is only available in Light Blue (Tron Blue)

For this set, the driver/inverter is very powerful and comes with a separate power pack

Left and Right Flynn Replica EL Tapes

The EL Tape is 30 cm from top to tail with the stick and hoop that comes in near the shoulder adding another 8cm

The tape is just 350 microns thick – that is 1/3rd of a millimetre!

Sticky back Velcro is supplied that is the exact width of the EL Tape – be careful putting it on as that glue is VERY sticky

You must sew the other part of the Velcro onto the costume making it very convenient to attach and remove

Of course, you don’t need to use the Velcro and fix it any way you choose

The Mid-Line

Sam Flynn has a small line of light that runs down the middle of his chest. This is lit by the 1.5cm x 15cm EL Tape provided. This tape can be easily cut to shape if you prefer it smaller

SPLITTERS

We recommend using the splitter as follows:

The 3-way splitter comes straight from the Inverter, 2 of the channels go to the left and right side of Flynn Torso with the third going to the Mid-Line
