Replacement EL Backlight 25mm x 120mm for Realistic Scanner

Description

This EL Panel is 25mm wide (with a lit area of 23mm) and 120mm long.

It has been designed to fit most Realistic scanner models but will also backlight any device with similar screen size

 

12cm may be too long for most models, so just cut it down to size with sharp scissors and reseal ‘cut’ edges with glue before installing.

There are a choice of connectors on either end depending what is most convenient for the device

There is a jumper connection on the left and on the right is thin FPC tape that can also easily be soldered onto – just cut off the one you don’t need

These Electroluminescent Tape backlight panels are available in:

Light Blue (Tron Blue), Deep Blue, Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow and White

We have plenty of other shaped EL Tapes and Panels if this one is not quite right in our store

EL Tape and Panels need an Inverter to make them glow – if you are replacing an EL Backlight then you simply wire the EL Panel into the inverter that is already in the machine

If you are creating an EL Backlight where there wasn’t one before you will need to also insert a small inverter/driver

The EL Panels and EL Tape is paper thin (about 1/3 of a millimetre!) so it is incredibly versatile and can be used for a variety of uses
