This Gem Siren replica set is plug and play and made up of the following:

Four pieces of Angular EL Tape – 2 for the body and 1 for each leg of the Gem Costume.
1 x 1.5cm x 15cm EL Tape that can be easily snipped to length – for the glowing mid line.
2 x 2cm x 40cm of EL Tape curved to go round the ID Disc and over the shoulder.
1 x 14cm Tron Identity Disc, made of EL tape.
1 x 4-way splitter, 1 x 3-way splitter, 1 x mini 3-way splitter and 2 x 50cm extenders.
A powerful portable driver with an 8 x AA battery pack (batteries not supplied) or a rechargeable Li-ion battery.
1.5m of Velcro – sticky on one side and sewable on the other to attach and remove the EL tape from your costume.

This listing is for:

1) Four pieces of Angular EL Tape for the body of a Gem Costume

3) Two pieces of 2cm x 40cm Curved EL Tape for the back of a Tron Costume – It is curved to go round the ID Disc and over the shoulder

4) 1 x 14cm Tron Identity Disc, made of EL tape.

5) A Powerful 8 x AA battery EL Driver or rechargeable 3000mAh Li-ion Driver.

6) 1 x 4-way splitters, a 3-way splitter, a mini 3-way splitter and 2 x 50cm extender for the leg parts – these make the whole set a simple ‘plug and play’

7) 1.5metres of Velcro – with sticky hoop and sewable loop to make it easy to attach the set to a costume and have it removable

This set is only available in Light Blue (Tron Blue)

THE POWER PACK*

Takes 8 x AA batteries (not supplied) and is 12.7cm x 7.02cm x 1.9cm and has a 19cm thin power wire coming out of it that leads to the driver

DRIVER

The driver is 8cm x 5cm x 3.2cm

Gem Front

This part has its own mini-3way splitter attached to two of the 2cm x 40cm Curved EL Tape and the 1.5cm x 15cm mid line Piece

Sticky back Velcro is supplied that is the exact width of the EL Tape – be careful putting it on as that glue is VERY sticky

You must sew the other part of the Velcro onto the costume making it very convenient to attach and remove

Of course, you don’t need to use the Velcro and can fix it any way you choose

Another channel, off the main 4-way splitter, goes to the back of the costume

Plug the other 3-way splitter into the 4-way splitter and those three channels go off too…

EL Identity Disc

This Large El Hoop is 14cm in diameter, there are two thin EL Tapes running in concentric circles and the inner diameter is just over 9cm across

2cm x 40cm Curved Outline

The EL Tape is curved so is 37 cm from top to tail – it has been designed to go on the back round the ID disc and curve over the shoulder

The other two channels off the main 4-way splitter are for the leg pieces

a 50cm extender wire plugs into both of these to take the power too…

Each leg has a 40 cm angled EL Tape to run down to the knee

This is how we recommend using the splitters

A 4-way splitter coming straight from the driver – for the front, the back and each leg

Depending on where you have the inverter, you may or may not need both extender wires

*Instead of 8 x AA battery pack this whole unit can be powered by a small rechargeable Li-ion battery

The 3000mAh battery is as powerful as 8 x AA batteries but weighs only 172g and is 7.3cm x 5.6cm x 2.2cm and comes with an Intelligent Charger
